We are presenting a collection of both Viptela SDWAN images and Cisco Viptela SDWAN images. 16.X version images are Viptela images. 18.X and 19.X version images are Cisco Viptela images.
If you are not having Cisco smart account as well as if you don’t know how to download and push the .viptela extension file of vedges then yu can use viptela images (16.X). These devices don’t requires the cisco smart account for authenticate the vEdge devices in vManage.
Cisco smart account is easy to create as well as it is free. If you are having cisco certification then you can use your ID and can create a account.
You can use any version of vEdge , vSmart , vBond images with any verion of vManage. Just keep in mind the 16.X version vManage support .TXT file of vEdge list and 19.X version vManage supports .viptela extension file of vEdge list and this file can only be download from cisco smart account.

hen yu can use viptela images (16.X). These devices don’t requires the cisco smart account for authenticate the vEdge devices in vManage. — How it is possible i am using your software it is asking to authentciate.

vmanage os this version will not require the smart account because smart account authentication was introduced later and this version of vmanag ewas was released when viptela was not purchased by cisco. 16.x vmanage allows to upload a vedge list in text file. but 18.0/19.0 vmanage don’t allow the text file. it has its own file format with extension as dot viptela. this file contains the data in encrypted format so you can’t edit it also. If you are still facing the issue. then you can drop a mail or you can drop a message in my facebook group(https://www.facebook.com/groups/2378619315505611).
I tried to apply .txt file on vmanage but i am getting ivalid file format error could you please help me on that.
